Search Engines
Search engines are tools that allow you to search the Internet for words or phrases. These engines have their own Web pages. Each page has an edit box in which you type the word or phrase you are looking for.
Different search engines perform different types of searches. Some engines search the key words in the Web page titles, some search the hypertext links for key words and still others search the entire text of Web pages. Because of the different searching techniques, the search results may be different depending on what engine you are using.
