Technology for Transition
Internet Resources for Students in Transition
Funded by the Department of Education from 1996 to 1999, Technology for Transition was a three-year project housed at the Center for Assistive Technology at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
As part of that project, this Web site was developed to facilitate access
to the Internet and to information related to planning transition. This site
is specifically designed to enable students using computers with assistive
technology to access search engines and on-line resources including on-line
dictionaries, books and computer tutorials.
A special component provides an on-line exploration of information related to college and career planning. Links to information and resources on assistive technology are also provided. This site can be used by students, families and school teams to support transition efforts.
