Wheelchair Braking System

Developed for: Jim Leahy, RERC on Technology Transfer

The wheelchair braking system automatically engages when the wheelchair user shifts their weight off of the seat during transfers. The wheelchair with brakes engaged provides a stable platform for the user during transfers.
