Design and Fabrication Services

Design & Fabrication Services (DFS) provides technical and educational services for clients from the State University of New York at Buffalo (University departments and faculty), as well as clients from Erie County and Western New York (external to the University community) including local businesses, organizations, and private individuals.

Design & Fabrication Services is an Independent Service Unit affiliated with the Center for Assistive Technology and the School of Public Health and Health Professions.

DFS offers well-equipped facilities and highly trained staff.

DFS services include design, fabrication, testing, virtual prototyping, education, short run production and much more!

DFS extends your shop and fabrication facilities. We do work that is beyond your design and fabrication capabilities. We work closely and cooperatively with your shop staff.

DFS facilities and staff are available for student education and class projects.

DFS works closely with clients to ensure that our work meets your needs.

DFS offers competitive rates, and flexible payment methods are available.
